About Me

Currently, I’m a Principal at LAUNCH. I run Founder University, a 12-week pre-accelerator for founders in the idea stage. We run 1 cohort per quarter and invest in the top 10% of each cohort.

Prior to this, as the VP of Operations at a San Francisco-based media startup, Inside.com, led by angel Investor, Jason Calacanis. Here, I’ve led the sales, editorial and development teams through strategic growth and initiatives, and drive alignment between cross-functional teams and projects.

About 20 years ago, I founded a big data company, Ncrease, and graduated from the Start.co business accelerator in Memphis, TN. I’ve since worked for real estate and media startups and consulted for many others.

Before joining the startup world, I followed my passion for live events to Hawaii and have since planned over 70 events around the world.

I planned 30 CIO tech events for Fortune 100 companies. I managed all major accounts, built a robust partner marketing program and hosted events across Europe, Africa, and North America.

I then worked on large scale non-profit events with notable organizations like the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation for Justice and Human Rights and The Jefferson Foundation, with a-list guest lists including politicians and celebrities. The last event I planned was a $7.5M, 10k attendee, 4-day luxury equestrian event in Los Angeles, CA, the Longines Masters.

My family and I live in the Pacific Northwest. I’m a proud supporter of the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, and Black Lives Matter.
